Its great to hear good Aussie sound and music!
Thank you Australian Internet Radio for supporting established Aussie acts and also new 'up and coming' Aussie talent like Cohodyblama. Congratulations on your San Diego 'Bondi Bar' launch. Onward and upward. Keep up the great work.
I love the way the contemporary music scene and the history of Australian sound are blended on your site. The research and care is evident in the presentation and I can't wait to hear more. And more.
I particularly appreciate the way the humour and cheekiness of Australians (Redgum, Auntie Jack et al) are mixed with the great older and newer classics, and more cutting-edge with the trusted favourites.
Where else will I find all the sounds I grew up with, along with so many genres of new artists to try? Thank you!
hey all the artists you mention played all the time.. spectrum,...hans pousens rocking chair, boom sha la la lo ....brian caddd features heaps as do the twilights and axiom...also the executives the groove the flies the strangers the vibrants normie rowe joy boys sven libaek(to ride a white horse) bobby thomas and the whispers as well as ray brown and the whispers phew and there is lots more.............................................................
I know that Audi have started research and development on having internet radio in their cars.
So I guess eventually we will, but will be pretty cool when we do then we can have all this great music at our finger tips, from anywhere in the world!
PS: Australian Internet Radio has a great format, keep it up.
I never realized what a documentary on Australian Music that Australian Internet Radio is ...i cannot believe that some of the songs that i am hearing , years ago i probably wouldn't have listened to ...well done ...you have converted me to listen always to your Australian Internet Radio...obviously just like many others from the comments that i have read on your blog page............
what more can i say than ,thank you australian internet radio for playing the best music in the world ,day after day...yo truly amaze me with you musical choices..please keep playing more and more wonderful australian music.....thank you, thank you again..
i keep hearing unreal aussie music.....just love john farnham, jimmy barnes, the divinyls, the executives, the allusions and many more but who is that great female voice i keep hearing a lot..tracey campbell..sure came tickle the ivorys...more music like what you are playing please

Andy Cowan - Soul / Blues / Piano / Singer-Songwriter / Great band
Albums: Sweet Release (2004) - mostly self-penned, all wonderfully accomplished; and Troubadour Nights (2006) - truly amazing covers of some of the world's best, plus one of his own songs showing he stands tall among those he emulates.
Andy and his band are sublime masters and deserve to be heard.
Note: once you have heard their recordings do not resist the urge to see them live...
you aussies really know how to play great music......i have never heard so many good songs...what decades do they come from....you are gonna take the U.S. by storm......we haven't had such great new music like this in years..........wow.............
